As a visitor to the PARI website
I want to navigate to a different language version of the website
So that I can access the content in a language in which I am comfortable
Overview:
The PARI website has a huge archive of content in native Indian languages. Many of the visitors to the website might be more comfortable in native Indian languages rather than English and will find it more convenient to access the website in these languages. We are providing the option to the users to use the website in any of these chosen languages. Each of the languages will have its own version of the site, with a separate URL. The prioritized list of languages are Urdu, Marathi, Tamil and Hindi.
This story deals with navigating to a different language version of the website from the current page. The user should be able to select a language from any of the pages of the website and move to the version of the page in that selected language.
Pre Condition: The different language versions of the PARI website should be available with a different URL for each of the languages
In Scope:
Displaying the different language options available to user and selecting one of them
Navigating to the version of the website in the language selected by the user
Staying in the language selected by the user until and unless the user selects a different language
Out of Scope:
Loading content from CMS in the language selected by the user
Translating the text in the web pages to the different native languages
Acceptance Criteria:
Given that I am a visitor to the PARI website
When I am in any of the pages on the PARI website
Then I should be able to see the name of the language of the website I am currently in
Given that I am a visitor to the PARI website
When I am in any of the pages on the PARI website
Then I should be able to see the list of the different language versions of the website which are available
Given that I am in any of the pages on the PARI website
When I choose the language in which I want to access the website
Then I should be taken to the same page in which I am currently, in the version of the site in the language which I have chosen
Given that I have chosen the language in which I want to access the website
When I am taken to the version of the website according to my selection
Then I should stay in that language version of the site until and unless I select a different language version of the site
