I have included an identifier in the package.id field (e.g. knb-lter-nes.23.2). Do you know if there is something I can do differently to enable the summary view?

The metadata previewer web page renders EML metadata using the same XSLT as the active metadata viewer web page, including the display of data and metadata-accessible hyperlinks. Hyperlinks in the metadata previewer web page, however, result in PASTA 404 error messages when the previewed metadata has not yet been published in the repository. Links should be sanitized (or at least made inoperable) before being displayed on the metadata previewer web page.
