When creating a new DOI using the floating UI, the system should perform a lookup for DOI data at CrossRef and auto-populate the DOI UI fields if available.

And I am still hoping that one of these days it will go out and fetch the full citation when I enter the DOI - any plans for that? That information is accessible at crossref through their api.
