The current Filezilla application comes bundled with a malicious Chromium install that features malware

I'm going to close this without merging. While I understand your point the current free "sponsored" build of FileZilla gives you the option to not install an bundled software if you skip through it.

FileZilla has been sort of a standard for file transfer and many people are used to it. It also is cross platform and open sourced.

I will however list a few more options. LFTP is nice but really Linux only. We have many MacOS and Windows OS users.
