Filter at bottom of genome list in protein family sorter (or whatever its called now) is buried #996

Open ARWattam opened 7 years ago

ARWattam commented 7 years ago

I know that this will be hard, but the text and family filters on the protein family sorter is buried at the end of what could be an extremely long list. How is a user supposed to find that? And when all the other filters are in the black box above the list, why can't we have ti that way on this page? This won't work as it is now. At the very least, we need a text filter to limit the number of returns.

  1. would you provide url to help us understand your context?
  2. What is the expected behavior?
  3. What do you see instead of your expectation?

There the url.

Just create a couple of separate groups (this one had 3) and you'll see it at the bottom of the filter. Also, do the same thing in production and see how they are different.
