Outdated jQuery Lib #446

It seems the jQuery Lib 1.10.2 will be used currently. Someone maybe could update the Lib. Fourther Infos needed?

Hi @svenu81 and thanks for raising this. This version of jQuery is indeed very old. Personally, I'd like to eradicate the use of jQuery altogether, because loading it from the CDN has GDPR implications and it's one further script the browser has to load.

We'll assess the use of jQuery in our plugin.

FYI: We're still on this. Some jQuery usage would be easy to migrate to prototype or vanilla JS, some other places will need some refactoring.
