Enhancement: Some ideas... #259

First I want to compliment you on lanteacraft, in my opinion it is the best mod out there. I think the mod is great already but there are some things that would be awesome if they were added. I do know it is not easy to add but I hope you can get some inspiration from me :). Actually I don't even know if it is possible since all I know about making a mod is that it's rather hard.

-Weapons (like wraith stunner, ronon's gun, C4, P90's) -Wraith, maybe make them drop wraith enzyme wich gives you speed, strength and resistance but you become dependant on it. -ZPM-platform (already mentioned in issue #107), but however it would be awesome to be able to convert ZPM-power to EU -A forcefield, I actually found a mod that adds forcefields (called adv. repulsion system), it works well together with Lanteacraft and ic2. -Structures (Like a wraith ship in hubernation, people to trade with)

It would be awesome if just one of these were added, however even if nothing gets added this will still be the best mod there is :).

I would like to see randomly generated villages with stargate in it. With villagers able to dial random existing address, so we can receive "Offworld activaton" on singleplayer and prepare for defence or a meeting. You can add "integration" with Mystcraft, so when I craft descriptive book it has address of gate in the name and I can exprole worlds like in SG-1.

Yes, that would be awesome. The villages w/ villagers that dial random existing adresses are not (yet) added but issue #21 (mob incursions) is planned so we will be having to defend ourselves :)!

Villagers dialing gates would be awesome, but you have to consider that those chunks would have to be loaded before the city would spawn, and would have to remain loaded for the villagers to be able to take actions. Between the two problems, its not likely to happen.

As I said, I know nothing about programming and the way games work, but what you say sounds reasonable :).

Several of these features are already planned, but you've given me some good ideas. I'll have a look into some of these when 2.1-future-features rolls around.

Is that possible that We will be able to send OpenComputers(or ComputerCraft, that I hate) messages throught gates(even to another dimension or throught milions of blocks)? Then, I can make an iris on IDCs (of course, if it will be implemented).

I would love that to because I like to have a mystcaft dimension and like cc and I can't send messages between dimensions
