In the original source, in https://github.com/APEXCalculus/APEXCalculus_Source/blob/master/text/08_Taylor_Series.tex (which is translated to sec_polar.mbx), there is a tabular that begins at line 163. After SL2X, an unprotected ampersand from this tabular remains. I notice it is directly between two pieces of math content.
sec_polar.mbx
tabular
The same happens with an ampersand originating at line 323 from https://github.com/APEXCalculus/APEXCalculus_Source/blob/master/text/09_Polar_Intro.tex. This one is in between two \textbf{}s.
\textbf{}
And there are more such incidents. The ones I have looked at are all directly between two "elements" of LaTeX, which may have something to do with why SL2X is not detecting them.
