We'll need to register Climate Resource here, who already have an ROR - https://ror.org/01kk86953

znichollscr commented 2 months ago

xref #8, do we register here or in https://github.com/PCMDI/input4MIPs-cmor-tables

@znichollscr input4MIPs-cmor-tables is circa CMIP6, whereas I am trying to pull anything post-CMIP6 (CMIP6Plus, CMIP7, ...) forward in time to this repo

durack1 commented 3 weeks ago

And attempting to continue the discussion as I have closed #12.

The source_id recommended here is CR-CMIP-0-1-0, as the CMIP DECK is identified as CMIP activity_id across CMIP6, and that will likely continue going forward.

Registering multiple source_id's are a to-do imminently, so will add the CR-CMIP-0-1-0 to the list if you approve this identity @znichollscr - we'll need to also capture additional dataset metadata, ala following the template for PCMDI-AMIP-1-1-9 immediately above https://github.com/PCMDI/input4MIPs_CVs/issues/13#issue-2236887835

Sounds good, CR-CMIP-0-1-0 is fine. Ping me in whatever MR you need and I can help with metadata
