hey sorry for late reply but there's no such issue occurring in aethersx2 latest version but can replicate the same issue when enabling hardware fixes in aethersx2 but in pcsx2 its vice versa #10354

and in pcsx2 even after enabling manual hardware fixes the light rays are not getting obstructed from buildings it passes through themes I think its related to code I hope please look in to it kindly. I would rather consider aethersx2 but sadly HD textures dump feature isn't available in it.

As I told you in #10351 that is a problem with the texture pack, not the emulator.

Obviously disabling the hw fixes (which the game needs) breaks it, this isn't your problem, your problem is the texture pack and how the sun works, go to talk to the person who made the pack.
