does the OBS virtual camera work for you?

seta-san commented 9 months ago

yes. when configured to obs it works... but versions before the ring buffer fix configuring to the camera worked flawlessly. i can't see how the ring buffer fix affected it since it's only used on the audio module afaik

seta-san commented 9 months ago

okay. i uninstalled the official logitech driver for the camera and it defaulted to a generic microsoft driver. it stopped crashing but the games are still not activating the camera and the game is giving me a green background where the video feed should be.

at no point does the light on the camera turn on to tell you it's active.

Can you check for an updated logitech driver and try reinstalling? maybe unplug the USB and replug it

already did both. latest driver was for win10 from 2020

Going to close this as invalid, since the testers can't repro, and the crash is showing as being inside your driver.

Unless you can prove this is actually a PCSX2 issue, e.g. with a debug build and AppVerifier to catch buffer overflows.
