the name of the screenshots already uses the name and serial of the said game
Although the name of the file is automatically populated with the name, serial, and timestamp, I think it would be very useful to have individual files, especially as someone who currently has around 1000 files in 'snaps'.
1) The folders just make things visually easier to parse. For instance, if I have 25 games, and each of those have 50 snaps, then I'm scrolling through 1250 snaps to find where the snaps corresponding to the specific game I'm looking for are. And I think it's entirely realistic to have far, far more than 1250 snaps. Meanwhile, slotted into folders, this becomes 25 directories, for which I can then click on whichever one I need.
2) Assume my snaps are distributed very, very unevenly, for example I have 3 games with 200 snaps apiece and 5 games with 2 snaps apiece. Again, I don't think this is unrealistic at all. Then in order to find a snap from one of those 5 games, I'm again scrolling through to find a snap that's likely sandwiched between 200 files on either side. Meanwhile, with folders, this becomes 8 directories, for which it's trivial to find the snap. In a sense, this would 'homogenize' each of the games for easier parsing.

The created screenshots are prefixed with the game name. Unlike in 1.6, where it had gs_
and then the time. Simply typing the first few letters in your file explorer will dump you to the exact position where the files for that game begin, and then it's sorted chronologically. If your file manager doesn't support this, well, I'd recommend using a better one :-).
Furthermore, if you do actually want to sort all screenshots chronologically, having them in separate folders prevents you from doing this.
Therefore, it's redundant, and arguably worse, so this request gets a -1 from me.
Both arguments make sense, it could probably be a toggleable option. Probably called "save future screenshots in separate directories" as opposed to "save screenshots in separate directories" to stop potential issues like "why havent they sorted into folders after toggling!"

Definitely not redundant, its just a qol feature - its not the end of the world. If you have a lot of screenshots windows explorer on a hdd will actually suffer trying to search the game name because it sucks - but it is what a majority of people use so we should try and give people the option to optimise for it.
I'd be surprised if the majority of users are still using HDDs these days. If you are, switch to the details view instead, that way it doesn't need to generate thumbnails and read the actual file.
You can make the argument for "it should be an option" for almost literally anything. Doesn't mean it's a good idea, because following that logic, you'd have hundreds and hundreds of options in the UI, and a completely unmaintainable codebase. Having a reasonable scope matters ;)
I haven't used game capture software in years, but back when I used to use fraps, it'd put everything in a single directory too.
Description
Please add a way to separate the screenshots we take in PCSX2 by game or title, putting inside a title folder for example. For the organization to be better.
Reason
Best organization to screenshots, making more easy to find the images.
Examples
Like this, separate by folders
