Describe the Bug

When playing in any game mode and selecting "go to menus", the game halts on a black screen, likely the black screen that precedes the menu loading, but it never will. After a while the game presents you a FIFO error. This seems to only happen With one of my savegames. it is uploaded below.

odd question are you using savestates ?

refractionpcsx2 commented 5 months ago

also please verify your iso, right click the game in your list, choose "properties" then in the "Summary" tab, click "Verify" and check what comes back.

gbzinsheikk commented 5 months ago

@Mrlinkwii No I do not use save states.

I believe that's worth mention that the savegame in which this error does not occour to me is one that have never left pcsx2 while the one in question has gone through original hardware at some point. Maybe there's nothing to do with it but still.

seta-san commented 4 months ago

Looks like the same error true crime la had.

refractionpcsx2 commented 4 months ago

It happens sometimes when things go wrong.

gbzinsheikk commented 4 months ago

What does it mean? It's tricky to fix?

seta-san commented 4 months ago

So good news, bad news I think. Bad news; This is probably a timing issue which isn’t easy to deal with. Good news; it’s an easy bug to cause and thus easier to diagnose and debug.
