F9?
Software mode is correct, but if you switch back the effect returns
I think i had the same issue when i played that game. When this is a real bug it exists for years.
Have you tried the preload frame option in ogl renderer?
Same effect with added glitchy mess at the bottom of the screen Video - https://youtu.be/Unw8gIOJ7CU
Pretty sure I have found what causes it. Was unable to get the effect with native res, anything other than native caused it to reappear
When I played this game in PCSX2, I enabled hack to switch to software mode when Video is being played. But I got to restart PCSX2 since gameplay slows down after few hours.
Does this still happen?
@deadair3210 Does this issue still occur with the latest PCSX2 v1.5.0 development build?
@deadair3210 why did you close all your issues ?
Had a issue with a script mess up. Hadn't had a chance to reopen it yet. Sorry
I haven't messed with this in a while, will test it if I get a chance but I haven't messed with this in a while. Will have to redump everything
Can you test this again if it's still an issue?
@Masamune3210 can you check on latest nightly to check if this is an issue still :)
Issue seems to have gotten worse, with even native having corruption issues on 1.7.3620

Can you try blending tff deinterlacing? We have a new default deinterlacing called MAD which can do weave-like artifacts for certain motion.
It's doing that because every other frame is missing.
okay. I've got an update on this. it only does it when you switch renderers or resolution during video playback. it seems to have a stable video if you don't screw around in the settings.
Thanks for noticing the game has the SW FMV hack because HW rendering doesn't work on the videos.
When playing the International version of Final Fantasy X-2, there is a video on the title screen that is in Japanese. If you select it, the video will play but will have horizontal lines and possibly the Playstation 2 Logo overlayed on top of it.
