[BUG] Black Screen - Eyetoy Antigrav #4240

Describe the bug black screen where you would expect to find a video stream from the eyetoy

To Reproduce start antigrav with the eyetoy

Expected behavior a video stream from the eyetoy should appear

GS Settings standard software mode

Emulation Settings usb set to eyetoy

GS Window Screenshots gsdx_20210223021018

System Info (please complete the following information):

Logs and Dumps gsdx_20210223021018.gs.zip

Eyetoy Antigrav asks for a 160x112 video.

Now we just have to find a webcam to run at this resolution 😄😄😄 Antigrav

Can you intercept the camera picture and downscale it?

Wait can i use the PlayStation eye? It have the same resolution as the eye toy

it have the same components of the eyetoy someone should make a direct driver (CL EYE runs at 0.5fps)

also apparently mine can run just fine at that resolution and its a generic Microsoft web cam

Antigrav doesn't work yet. Try with eyetoy play

play 3 works like a charm. thank you for your time. just out of curiosity do you have a time estimate for antigrav game? i really like it.

quick question can you lower the resolution of the camera by simply cutting out the video feed? simply hacking off 1280 pixels from the width of the picture?

I'm closing this issue for the longer term issue of newer model webcams increasingly dropping native support for lower resolutions and the need to be able to descale high resolution video feeds.
