PDS Management Response:

An attempt at crowdsourcing was evaluated several years ago. However, crowdsourcing is problematic in that it may reduce the integrity of PDS archives from non-expert contributions. Crowdsourcing may create a large overhead to implement a crowdsourcing system and to evaluate the quality of results.
