7 months ago Currently this is handled informally, outside of the website. As such, there is no immediate need for this, but it may become relevant later as the platform continues to expand.
There are certain cases where this would be particularly helpful. For example, a contributor may want to have a piece of content associated with a group they belong to. While it might make sense that they could instead request that the group is added to the content, it may help to solve more issues if we just focused on allowing the contributor to just request edit access so they can perform the action of relating the node to the group themselves.
