**Professor Elaine Bignell**, Dept of Biosciences, University of Exeter, UK. **Specialism:** Medical mycology with a focus on defining pathogenicity in Aspergillus fumigatus and the identification of novel drug targets.
**Dr Dan MacLean**, Bioinformation at The Sainsbury Laboratory, Norwich, UK. **Specialism:** Analysis of the genomes of persistent and emerging plant pathogens; use of mathematical modelling techniques to understand what drives genome size and the dynamics of gene regulation.
**Dr Leighton Pritchard**, Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. **Specialism**: Analysis of the genomes of pathogenic bacteria and fungi.
We would like to thank former members of the Scientific Advisory Board for their input and support: Professor Pietro Spanu, Dr Mike Csukai, and Dr Richard Harrison.

We have a section on the Community page listing our Scientific Advisory Board members. I'm not sure if this is still applicable given our change of funding source. Even if it is, some of the members may have been replaced since we last updated the page.
We should decide whether to update the list or delete the whole section.
