Searches that match a PHIG ID should link directly to the gene page #30

For example, a search for 'PHIG:256' only returns one gene, but you still need to click 'View' to get to the actual gene page.

It would be more convenient if the search linked straight to the gene page in this case. That's how the search behaves on other websites (like UniProtKB) when an exact match is found.

We've since decided that only a search for a PHIG identifier should link directly to the gene page, since currently that's the only identifier that we can guaranteed will be unique. I've amended the original comment to reflect this.

On search of PHIG ID , it's directly displaying the gene details page now .
