Abbreviate genus in scientific names in more sections #45

I've noticed that the genus of the scientific name is abbreviated in metagenotype annotations:

But not in other annotation types:

@martin2urban @CuzickA Do we want to abbreviate the genus name in all of the annotations on the gene pages?

In case of any ambiguity, we could request that the expanded name be added to the pop-up that appears on mouse-over:

Not sure what the best heading would be: maybe 'Species' or 'Name' or 'Scientific name' instead of 'Organism'.

We agreed to abbreviate the genus in the metagenotype and genotype display names, but not in the pop-up that shows when the display name is moused-over.

Just to clarify, the genus should be abbreviated in the display names in the following sections:

Other sections, such as Pathogen, Host and Physical Interaction, can stay the same, since space usage is not an issue in those sections.

In sections where the genus is abbreviated, we would also like to add an additional column to the annotation pop-up, showing the species name without abbreviation:

I've confirmed that the genus is abbreviated in all the above annotation types (except Disease name), and not in the annotation pop-up.

I'll close this issue now since abbreviation in the Disease name annotations can be checked once the pathogen and host display names are shown (see issue #47).
