1 year ago The Annotation Extension Type search seems to be working now. Note that the search requires that an Annotation Type is chosen first, but there's no indication of which annotation extension type is valid for which annotation type.
Usability could be improved if the Annotation Extension Type field were disabled until an annotation type is selected, and then filtered according to the annotation extension types that are valid for that annotation type.
No results are returned when searching with the Annotation Extension Type search option in Advanced Search, when no other search options are specified.
The Annotation Extension Type should return all gene pages that have at least one annotation with the specified annotation extension type in the Additional Information section.
For example, searching for the annotation extension type 'infects_tissue' should return PHIG:253, since that has an annotation with 'infects_tissue' in the Additional Information section.
