1 year ago The PHI-base team have agreed that this search option will probably not be useful to most users of PHI-base 5 and there is no point fixing it until users request it.
The simplest solution is to hide or remove this search option.
No results are returned when searching with the Annotation Extension Term search option in Advanced Search, when no other search options are specified.
The Annotation Extension Term should return all gene pages that have at least one annotation where the value of an annotation extension in the annotation matches the value specified in the search.
For example, searching for the annotation extension value 'inflorescence' should return PHIG:253, since that has an annotation extension with the value 'inflorescence' in the Additional Information section.
