@ValWood are the below definitions ok? Do I need to expand on 'growth'?
f14788c
see #283
maybe this is better? normal hyphal growth A single species cellular process phenotype in which the size of an individual hypha is normal.
Maybe we need to be more precise and have terms for hyphal growth (increase in size of the organism)
Normal hyphal growth A cellular process phenotype in which size increases normally during hyphal lifestyle phase
and formation of hypha (individual hypha form normally) A cellular process in which hypha form normally (do we need to say single-species here, there should not be any confusion, should there?) The cross product would be hypha FAO:0001001 http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/FAO_0001001 A long, branching filamentous structure formed by a vegetatively growing fungus.
and length of hypha branching of hypha
But thinking about it "formation of hypha" is a process, and the size terms are morphology, so these should not have a parent /child relationship either.
Normal hyphal growth A cellular process phenotype in which size increases normally during hyphal lifestyle phase
ignore this for now. We could add this though into the new structure if required.
see #288
Edit def for 35913bb normal hyphal growth from A single species cellular process phenotype in which hyphal growth is normal. to An individual species growth phenotype in which the size or extent of directional growth of an individual hypha is normal.
Edit def b2f27dc normal hyphal formation from A single species cellular process phenotype in which hyphae formation is normal. to An individual species growth phenotype in which hyphae formation is normal.
