label "normal pathogen protein and host protein colocalization within host"

defined definition "A pathogen host interaction phenotype, in which the colocalization of a pathogen protein and a host protein within a host cell is normal (i.e. indistinguishable from wild type)."

I think. the term label could be just: normal pathogen and host protein colocalization (I don't think protein needs to be repeated and the fact it is in the host is implicit)

@jseager7 is this term used? I don't remember it.

@ValWood 'normal pathogen protein and host protein colocalization within host' is used once in the session for PMID:30584105.

RIght, I think this term is OK but it should be grouped together with other protein localization terms- (i.e. the colocalization. of a pathogen protein with a host protein is quite related to the localisation of a pathogen protein to a host structure, but these are quite separated in the ontology. We need to come up with a suitable grouping term for all)

We need to come up with a suitable grouping term for all

Perhaps 'pathogen host interaction protein localization phenotype'? That mirrors the single species branch term 'protein localization phenotype' (PHIPO:0000237).

ValWood commented 3 years ago

Yep, sounds right.

I have reinstated the previously obsoleted term PHIPO:0000236 'pathogen host interaction protein localization phenotype' c690093
