host gall present during pathogen invasion (or maybe 'presence of host gall during pathogen invasion'?)
A pathogen host interaction phenotype where the presence of a pathogen (or symbiont) has resulted in the abnormal growth of the host tissue, forming a plant gall (BTO:0005833 Plant gall).
abnormal host morphology during pathogen invasion
@smvelasquez and @ValWood, do you have any comments to add for these new gall terms for curating
PMID:25888589 A Secreted Effector Protein of Ustilago maydis Guides Maize Leaf Cells to Form Tumors.
This gall term would replace the 'presence of pathogen asexual sporulation structures within host lesion' annotation
For new term requests, please provide the following information:
decreased number of host galls during pathogen invasion
A pathogen host interaction phenotype where the presence of a pathogen (or symbiont) has resulted in a decreased number of plant galls (BTO:0005833 Plant gall).

For https://github.com/PHI-base/curation/issues/103
I have found 'plant gall' in BTO
From this definition it would appear that a gall is an abnormal growth within the host in the presence of a pathogen. (Rather than being defined as of comprising both pathogen and host organism tissue as we suggested in https://github.com/PHI-base/curation/issues/103).
Therefore, maybe these new terms could be grouped under 'abnormal host morphology during pathogen invasion'![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/11753634/176902723-a890c644-53d0-490a-9fbb-e553468ae14b.png)
