Certain areas of the website allow users to rate published content. To rate a piece of content, the user must have an active account on the website and be logged in.
Ratings consist of a 5-Star system, and increment 1 star at a time (i.e. it is not possible to rate something as three and a half stars). It is not a requirement to leave a rating along with a comment, however if a user left a comment (#10) and a rating their rating should be displayed with their comment. To score a piece of content, the user just clicks on the star, counting from the left, representing their required score. When hovering over a star, all stars up to and including that star are highlighted, and remain lit upon click.
A average rating is to be displayed in any summary view of content, such as in search results or when browsing a category of content. The average rating should also appear at the top of a piece of content near the title.
