PHPExcel not able to read xlsx file downloaded from internet until I open the file and press save #1315

I just started using PHPExcel yesterday. I am downloading a file form the internet and then uploading it onto the server where the PHPExcel reads the data and then inserts it into the DB.

However, I foud that the PHPExcel is not able to read the excel file I download form the internet until and unless I open the file and save it(without making any change or doing anything else. even the Protected View is disabled for files downloaded from internet).

I dont know if this issue has already been submitted, but is there a work around for this?

No, no fix for this has been found for this.
