It's just too bad they missed a critical setting that they have for everything else like Blogs, Events...etc.
They have:
Can add groups?
They are missing:
Can edit their own group? - referring to admins of the group.
Some of us as admin make groups for others to run but don't want that user group to be able to add groups or pages.
I brought this up in 2018 in this thread I am still confused why this setting is not there. Here is the original thread.
