PHPsrc / PHP-Tool-Integration

On one site there exists many good PHP tools such as PHPUnit or PHP CodeSniffer which support the development of PHP scripts. On the other side there powerful IDEs for example PHP Delepment Tools Project (PDT) but mostly with no possibility to use such tools with them. The Eclipse PHP Tool Integration (PTI) is a collection of Eclipse plugins which aims to close this gap.

In Eclipse Mars.1, =all= options under "PHP Tools" are grayed-out #10

After just-installing on "Version: Mars.1 Release (4.5.1) Build id: 20150924-1200," I find that when I select a PHP file in the Project Navigator view, then right-click on "PHP Tools," all options are grayed-out. (On my box, these options are: "PHP Depend," "PHP Copy/Paste Detector," and "PHP CodeSniffer.") I can't attempt to run any of them.

(I -did- go to the "configuration" menu and select things like the PHP executable, library, and so forth, for all of the tools, as described in the "PHP_CodeSniffer-Configuration" wiki-page. I also did a "pear install PHP_CodeSniffer," whether I actually needed to or not.)

Of only interest to me is CodeSniffer, and Eclipse says that I have these things installed:

When looking at "PDT Extensions stable - http://p2-dev.pdt-extensions.org/" in the Install New Software window, I don't notice anything "missing ..."

When I look at "PDT Extensions stable - http://p2-dev.pdt-extensions.org/" it says that everything is installed.

But ... nothing seems to be accessible, and I have no idea why.
