What steps will reproduce the problem?

See below. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The google:content property is required, even for nodes with no content,
such as folders. So the connector must supply an empty string. As an aside,
that should be documented. It further appears that nodes with no content
are also not indexed in the GSA.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

This is fixed in SVN (r486), to the extent we're going to fix it.  If 
google:content
is NULL, we substitute a single space (something to make the GSA index it).   
for the
case of google:content is non-null but empty, we're just going to document it.
