method validateConfig of ConnectorType is never called though no validation is made on the creation of a connector #29

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a connector with a false password
2. The connector is created without any warning.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to have a call to this method to test the connection of the
connector to the system.
