The Add Line to Schedule button is the first submit button on
the form. If you hit enter while filling out the form, your edits
are lost and you get another schedule line. (Tested with IE 6 and
Firefox 2, fwiw.)

The fix, which adds an invisible submit button to the form, doesn't work with
Safari. Using "width:0px" in place
of "display:none" on the invisble button does work with Safari and Firefox 2.0
(both on the Mac).

Reopened bug #683406 because the invisible button also doesn't work in Chrome,
either. Marking this bug as a
duplicate. Further changes will be tracked on the Google bug.
