Unable to edit Connector Managers #43

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In the GSA admin console, go to the Connector Managers page.
2. Click Edit for one of the configured connector managers.
3. Edit the Location field.
4. Click the Save button.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expected the configuration I edited to be saved. Instead, I get the same
form back, with my changes still present, and the error message " The
connector manager name already exists." displayed in red above the list of
connector managers. If I click the Edit link again, it shows the original
configuration, without my changes, so those have not been saved.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I was using the GSA at 8.6.49.37.

Please provide any additional information below.

The only workaround that I can think of is to delete the connector manager
and add it again, but in order to do that I have to delete all of my
configured connector instances and then recreate them after recreating the
connector manager.

I tried this on my GSA, running 4.6.4 G56, and the Edit functionality for
connector
manager instances worked. The hosted GSA is running a later build, which would
suggest that this is a regression since build 56.
