"Update literature note" is correctly adding new annotations but not updating existing ones

Hello, when I click "Update literature note" in Obsidian, new annotations are correctly being added to the end of the note, but already existing annotations are not getting updated.

For example: I annotate something in Zotero and create a literature note from that in Obsidian. I then modify this annotation in Zotero (for example add a comment or change the annotated text). The changes are displayed correctly in the ZotLit "Zotero annotation view" but when I click "Update literature note" the annotation in the literature not is not getting updated.

I just learned that this expected behaviour. It works when I tick "In Place Update".
