Zotero Annotation View Not Working in Obsidian Side Panel after Update to Zotero 7 #370

Issue: Zotero Annotation View Not Working in Obsidian Side Panel after Update image

Description: After updating Zotero from version 6 to 7, the Zotero annotation view in the Obsidian side panel stopped functioning. I am currently using Obsidian version 1.6.7. The side panel no longer displays annotations as expected. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution?

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Update Zotero from version 6 to 7.
  2. Use Obsidian version 1.6.7.
  3. Attempt to view Zotero annotations in the Obsidian side panel.

Expected Behavior: The Zotero annotations should appear in the Obsidian side panel.

Observed Behavior: The Zotero annotation view is not functioning or displaying in the side panel.

Additional Information:

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

The plugin in this repo needs to be migrated to Zotero 7. Zotero 7 changed the reader and its events, so the plugin does not trigger the refresh in obsidian anymore. I made a very simple plugin you can try to use and extend: https://github.com/Faibk/zotlit-notifier/tree/main/build
