Many fixes

[PKua007]

This introduces several fixes and enhancements:

• typo fixes
• --version command
• some input validation errors were reported as internal errors (closes #52, closes #51)
• translation and rototranslation translation step sizes now don't draw indefinitely in gases (closes #48)
• number of OpenMP threads in the input file may now exceed theoretical limit (closes #53)
