Continuous ADS State "Disconnecting"

Hi everyone, first of all i want to say THANK YOU! Thank you for the great package and thanks for the detailed instructions. This is the first "Issue" i open on git hub so please have merci when i don't provide all necessary information from the beginning.

State of the Art:

• The node project runs on the Beckhoff IPC (locally)
• The connection works well and satisfying
• I can read and write variables

Issue:

• when i download an update or restart the PLC the node-red project gets stuck on "disconnecting"
• when the PLC is in run again, the node doesn't recognize this until i restart it.

temporary solution:

• i found a way how to bypass this issue by creating a cmd file, which closes the current node cmd prompt and opens it again. "taskkill /IM cmd.exe /FI "WINDOWTITLE eq node-red*" && start /min C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\npm\node-red.cmd EXIT"
• This cmd file will be executed when the state of "disconnecting" exist longer than 10 seconds
• The Problem here is that you can see for a second on the HMI the cmd prompt popping up which is not so great for UX

Is there a better solution for resetting the ads nodes?

This can not really be

This is due to the fact that Beckhoff works via the IP address and not via the NET-ID and Prort. Everything goes to the software router on the PLC. If you are working with static IP addresses, you can register a 2nd IP address with its own NET ID and enter the 2nd IP in the connection node, then that works.
