RefmanageR package's ReadZotero function has an option to pull references from a Zotero library based on tags--so once a Zotero reference database exists for NHA's, they can be tagged to facilitate automatically pulling the appropriate ones--I would suggest by ELCODE to link to species/natural communities present in species table: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/RefManageR/vignettes/manual.pdf#page=14
