function clean and better parameter names #65

Hello Ben, I cleaned the functions and changed the parameter names for functions when necessary. Thanks

Yes, there are a bunch of code move around, I also deleted lots of "useless" code to make the function easier to follow. But I have double-checked the changes and the results, I am sure there is no problem with those changes.
