`npm publish` (`postpublish` script) tries to push to an `https` URL - hangs #9

The postpublish lifecycle event tries to push the version tag to the repository listed in package.json, but this is an https-scheme URL. Pushing requires authentication, and that is not supported in the way the script is run.
