Welcome! You have been added to the dev team for trunk-balancing.

First things first:

• You will notice when you check the code for this project that there are two branches, the master branch and the working branch. The master branch is the stable version, all changes are to be committed to the working branch until testing is finished
• No new users get write access to the POSSA repos. You need to "fork" this project from the POSSA account to your personal Github account. You make all your changes to the working branch on your personal account and when you are finished issue a "Pull Request" and one of the POSSA admins will review and merge your changes.
• There is some help here for working with github and git.
• If you have general git questions, feel free to post in this thread. If you run into bugs or want to discuss features create a separate issue for each one, that way we can close them one by one as they are addressed. I have just started an issue called "Roadmap for Trunk Balancing" that we can use to discuss ideas for future changes etc.
• Make sure to "Watch" this project so that you get email updates whenever anyhing changes.
• You should have write access to the Project Wiki, feel free to update it.

Some additional points:

• There is the very beginning of a document for POSSA coding style guidelines here.
• Most of the open issues at the old colsolgrp are not important, but there is one feature request that would be useful: added by patrick_elx: "some providers are rounding call time to the minute, some to 30s increment, some to 6s and some are at the second. An option to indicate the method used by the provider would help to give a more accurate count."
