Cloning to desktop fails on windows 8 #71

I was getting this error when cloning to desktop during class

redistribution error

I went to microsoft download center http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679#

The visual studio 2013 64 bit and 32 bit redistribution's didn't not make a difference but when I load the 2012 64 bit redistribution fork now silently fails

Wondering if anyone is still looking at this project (such as @faushouse ) @ikemole

I visited the gitHub bootcamp and followed the instructions for cloning. Grabbed the tag and had git clone it
