Since I have several, I'm interested in this for a mwdia center (particularly 
since mow5 linux Distros aren't updating the PPC versions)

I have the same issue and building this for a media center would be cool ...

Hi, has anyone been able to compile an ISO cd image to boot PowerPC G4 Mac 
with, and install?  Is this available for download somewhere?

I have an Apple Powerbook G4 PowerPC, 17inch. I would like to be able to run 
Android with a flash drive or SSD card to access Google Docs and surf the 
Internet with it. I love this computer keyboard and screensize, but do not want 
to change anything as it uses an older, but very expensive Adobe Creative 
Suite. Any ideas about how this can be done? I do not want to install, just to 
run Android live from the removable media.

Thanks for any help. I can only check gmail and surf with an old version of 
Firefox...barely hanging in there, with the best laptop and battery I have ever 
owned.
