[ ] When adding/requesting PREreview, the 'Request PREreview' and 'Add PREreview' buttons should be greyed out until the preprint has been found and displayed. Currently, it's possible to enter a DOI and click 'Request PREreview' before the preprint has been found and displayed, which then doesn't register the request (I confirmed this with two separate papers of mine).
[ ] The 'Search preprints with PREreviews or requests...' search bar on the landing page works for text but not DOIs. I requested a review for my paper "Prediction Error and Repetition Suppression Have Distinct Effects on Neural Representations of Visual Information", but a search for "10.1101/213710" doesn't show this request
[ ] After logging a request to review, it would be nice to be notified that the request has been registered (but this may be less of a concern if the above problems are rectified)
[ ] Requests to review preprint aren't time-logged correctly. I made three requests to review my paper "Attention promotes the neural encoding of prediction errors" over a 20 minute period and they all show up as 10:00
[ ] Searching for DOIs attached to papers in PLOS journals show up as coming from preprints.org. I discovered this searching for my PLOS Biology paper "Attention promotes the neural encoding of prediction errors" using DOI 10.1371/journal.pbio.2006812. Is PREreview designed to allow already-published (open access) papers? Might open it up to some different use cases if not (e.g. journal clubs)
[ ] It's not currently possible to cancel requests for reviews... On that note, I only requested the above for debugging purposes, so please cancel all requests for my papers :) already published and I don't want to waste anyone's time!
"Attention promotes the neural encoding of prediction errors" (PLOS Biol)
"Prediction Error and Repetition Suppression Have Distinct Effects on Neural Representations of Visual Information" (eLife)
"Global Effects of Feature-based Attention Depend on Surprise" (Neuroimage)
