Error when trying to contact the OLS #132

Hi,

I have the same issue at the moment. To add more details I am using the px-submission-tool-2.5.4.jar uploading some DIA data coming from timsTOF Pro. There was no problem with the checksum step. It happens when I need to specify the instrument that was used to generate the data (timsTOF Pro). Surprisingly, this instrument is not on the list by default so I needed to use the Ontology Lookup Service to find it and this is when the error occured. I am doing the submission on a Windows 7 Professional but I have also already tried on a Windows 10 Professional and it did not change anything. One of my colleague told me that he already used the same version of the px-submission-tool a few weeks ago and that he did not get any issue with it.

Therefore, I am looking for help to and the fact that you have the same problem may not be a coincidence.

Hello,

I can also confirm this same issue with the Ontology Lookup Service with version 2.5.4. We have used other versions of this tool on the same computer without an issue, so I don't think it is an issue on the computer access to the internet.

Same issue for the latest version of px-submission tool, dude. It is still not fixed. I am gonna upload dog brain proteome data, but Term ID search failed. image
