PRIDE Converter does not go beyond step 1 with OpenJDK 1.6.0_27 #10

The PRIDE Converter starts up the first page of "Format Selection" and then 
does not go on. After clicking the "Next" button, a "Working"-progress bar is 
shown, but there is neither any CPU or IO work, nor is any error shown or 
logged, but the progress bar stays on screen.

Issue resolved through user installing Oracle's 64-bit version of Java instead 
of OpenJDK.
