Actually we have this.
But I would like P36594 rpb1-(CTD) S2,S5
Pct1 is recruited independently of Pce1 and appears to bind more avidly to the S2,S5 peptide
Hi Val, I knew this request was coming :)
[Term]
id: PR:000085738
name: DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit rpb1 phosphorylated 1 (Schizosaccharomyces pombe)
def: "A DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit rpb1 CTD-phosphorylated form (Schizosaccharomyces pombe) that has been post-translationally modified to include phosphoserine at the second and fifth positions of one or more of the C-terminal heptad repeats (YSPTSPS)." [PRO:DAN, PomBase:VW, PMID:11387325]
comment: Category=organism-modification. Requested by=PomBase.
synonym: "Spom-rpb1/Phos:1" EXACT PRO-short-label [PRO:DNx]
is_a: PR:000050494 ! DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit rpb1 CTD-phosphorylated form (Schizosaccharomyces pombe)
relationship: has_part MOD:00046 ! O-phospho-L-serine
relationship: only_in_taxon NCBITaxon:4896 ! Schizosaccharomyces pombe
rpb1 is really taking shape: See the Molecular function section https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPBC28F2.12 There are still gaps, i.e sometimes I can find the recruited protein but not the modification, or the process, and vice versa. I'm still fiddling with MF-BP connection, there is room for improvement here, but I have a solid framework for capturing Thanks for your patience with the term requests.

P36594 rpb1-(CTD) S5
The key findings were that the S. pombe guanylyltransferase bound equally well to the CTD Ser5-PO4 peptide and the Ser2-PO4/Ser5-PO4 peptide.
I will only capture binding to S5, since S2 does not appear to be required.
