I'm in the United States and my Fire TV device won't allow me to download an app by that name. Also, I found a few different apps under that name while searching for APKs, so I'm not exactly sure which one you are requesting.

I'm not exactly sure why I couldn't find the correct APK for this app that would work on my devices, so I'm going to have to ask you to download the latest Firemote beta version v3.1.2b2 and test the Joyn app launcher. Please let me know if it works properly.

I guess you can’t download it because it’s a German TV media library therefore only available in Germany.

However your implementation works great without any issues.
