wait longer for the Series XHR create action to finish #55

not sure we need this anymore (what we thought was superslow progress was actually a 500 from feeder staging), but we could merge regardless for when it's being sluggish... thoughts?

I think we should close this un-merged. I think it's better to fail faster given the timeout defaults. That tells us something is wrong, faster.
