usability problems with timezone enabled datetime picker #182

Erin Wade:

It's really hard to change the publish time — it keeps jumping to the end of the time every time you delete a number and changing things to times you didn't want.

Danika:

I recommend trying to type in 3:30pm and you will experience the trickiness.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Add/Edit a new episode
  2. Scroll down to the Release Date field
  3. In the time portion type in 3:30.
  4. The time resets to 3:00
  5. Type in 3:03 the time sticks
  6. Use the arrows to select 3:30

Expected:

  1. Add/Edit a new episode
  2. Scroll down to the Release Date field
  3. In the time portion type in 3:30. tab out
  4. Time is set.
